Basketball sign up's are here! Please register by Friday, November 15. Practices will be two days a week int the Colrain Central School gym with games on Saturday mornings at Mohawk Trail. The registration fee is $50 to cover uniform shirts, equipment, and referee fee's. Please make checks payable to Kristin Richardson. Stay tuned for more information about our new book fair format. We will have an all-online book fair with more than 10,000 titles to choose from. Books will be shipped directly to your door! The book fair will happen from November 11, 2024, to November 25, 2024. Shop the fair just in time for holiday gifts.
School picture day is on Wednesday, October 23. Dress your best, and be ready to smile!
With sore throat season upon us, I wanted to let families know that if you would like your child to be able to use a cough drop/throat lozenge at school, and you have given permission on the blue health form, then you must send them in to be kept in the health office. Thanks!

Colrain Central’s PTO invites you to their Trunk or Treat and Fall Fest on Sunday, October 27 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Colrain Central School. There will be free games, a photo booth, hot cider, and more! Attendance is free. We look forward to seeing you there!
We are now looking for another family representative for the Local Education Council (LEC). The LEC is an advisory board to the principal, overseeing the school improvement plan, consulting on the budget, and working with school staff and community members to ensure we are providing the best educational experience possible. If interested in serving in this capacity, please contact Mrs. Looman.
Ms. Cherry, our music teacher, has left to take a position elsewhere. I am currently in the process of gathering applications for the music teacher position. If you know of any music teachers looking for work, please send them to Mrs. Looman. Until we hire someone for that role, Ms. Hammond, one of our regular substitutes, has agreed to cover music classes.
